Plano Convex Lens is typically made from high-purity fused silica (also known as quartz). It is a type of optical lens characterized by one flat (plano) surface and one convex (outward-curved) surface. It is the component of collimating lens and focusing lens for fiber laser welding and cleaning.
Uncoated optical glass lenses offer ≥92% transmittance in the visible spectrum, while AR-coated versions reach ≥99.2%, ensuring minimal light loss and maximum efficiency.

Optimized curvature design reduces spherical aberration, making these lenses ideal for collimation, focusing, and imaging systems where precision is critical.

Choose from high-refractive-index optical glass for high-temperature and high-precision applications, or lightweight optical plastic for cost-sensitive, low-weight requirements.
